The Open Box Year cannot be thought properly concluded without some dancing, dining and the occasional helium induced singing…
So festivities kicked off with the talented dancers from Women For Peace with some beautiful and graceful movements, and then a less elegant rendition by some of the Open Box guys, of… dancing? That being said, this was equally entertaining. We also used this opportunity to award the highly coveted prize of a Kirstenbosch picnic and concert tickets to Team Bo Kaap for their commendable efforts during the Open Box Green Week, with the [Un]touchables coming a close second; sadly there were no prizes for being resourceful (cheating) so some of us walked away with nothing but a valuable lesson!
Having strawpedoed our way around the dance floor at Kelvin we headed out to Club 91 to complete the evening [and consequently see the morning in] in true OB style:
And so ends another year at Open Box, but as always, oh what an ending …
