Permanent Positions
<Junior Developer> If you’ve just completed a 3-4 year degree, or the equivalent in computer science or a related field, and you’re looking for a place to start putting your web development or database skills to good use, this is the position for you.
<Analyst Developer> We don’t believe in the expression ‘just a developer’. Aside from cutting code, analyst developers are expected to mentor other staff members, analyse and design solutions, and guide development initiatives.
<Senior Developer> Our senior developers are expected to be role models in all aspects of development, from architecture to design to mentorship of juniors, and can become client facing at the drop of a hat. In some companies, seniority means less work and fewer challenges. At Open Box, it’s exactly the opposite.
<Systems Architect> Our guiding lights on technology and architecture, systems architects are responsible for ensuring our solutions are robust, flexible and sustainable, in both the short and long term.
<Quality Assurance Specialist> Quality assurance is not just about testing code. Our QAs assist in the entire process, ensuring end-to-end quality and consistency of delivery by getting involved in everything from analysis to support.
<Systems Analyst> Do you have logical and critical thinking skills, mathematical aptitude and a knack for problem-solving? Do you have good written and verbal skills, and strong computer literacy? As a software analyst, you’ll put all these talents to work on the non-development aspects of our software projects, including analysis, project management, quality assurance, training and documentation.
<Support Analyst and Manager> Can you control the madness? In addition to fighting fires, our support managers are expected to take charge as well as nurture client relationships.
<Support Analyst> Do you work best in a fast-paced, high energy environment? Do you get a kick out of fighting fires and saving lives? Our support dynamos are on a mission to sustain our high level of quality.
<Data Analyst> Do you enjoy analysis and know your SQL? As one of our Data Analysts you will go where others dare not venture.
<Business Analyst> Somewhere between the client’s vision and the developer’s reality, there must be a person who can understand both. Our business analysts are the ones who bridge this divide, using their knowledge of business and software to translate client requirements into deliverable solutions.
<Systems Administrator> Keeping up with the latest technologies and having demanding internal infrastructural requirements means that Open Box expects more from its systems administration team than most places. Working with IT professionals and our offshore clients’ distributed systems also imply that you won’t be spending your time assisting clueless people opening emails.
